Velox Speedometer is designed with privacy as a foundational principle. We do not collect, track, store, transmit, or share any personal information, driving telemetry, or location data with external servers or third parties.
Velox Speedometer requests runtime access to your device's precise location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) solely to calculate and display:
On-Device Processing Only: All GPS calculations are processed in volatile memory on your device in real time. Coordinates are never written to permanent logs, nor are they transmitted across any network.
This application contains no third-party advertising SDKs, no analytics trackers, and no user profiling tools. We do not sell or monetize user data.
Preferences such as your selected display language (English / Thai), speed units (KM/H, MPH, KTS), speed limit warning thresholds, and gauge theme choices are stored locally on your device using Android's standard SharedPreferences. This preference data never leaves your device.
Velox Speedometer does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13. The application is completely safe for all audiences.
If we make any updates to our Privacy Policy in future versions, the updated version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
